HOW TO CHANGE HOTMAIL PASSWORD?

You should change your Hotmail password in a regular interval to your Outlook email security better. You can also change it if you suspect that others know about your Hotmail password. You should also change your password if you log in from a public computer or a friend’s device.

Change password Hotmail (Outlook Password Change).

Note the following :

  * Create passwords longer than eight characters.
* Mix the alphabet, numbers and special characters for passwords.
* Do not use a dictionary, your first or last name or the name of your family member as a password.
* Do not use the same password for multiple accounts.

Steps 1: Sign in Hotmail account and click on your picture in the upper right corner. You can also directly access account.microsoft.com and login using the login information to your Outlook.

Steps 2: On the left side of the page, you will see the name and email address yourself. Click ‘Change Password‘.

Steps 3: Select mobile phone or email for verification. If you choose to enter the mobile phone last four digits of a mobile number, if you prefer email, enter the email address your recovery.

Steps 4: Enter the security code that you received and click ‘Submit’.

Steps 5: Hotmail.com will ask you to set up an application, click on ‘Set it later’.

Steps 6: You will access the password change page. Enter your current password in the first box and create a new Hotmail account password and enter your password.

Click ‘Let’s change my password every 72 days’ and click ‘Save’.

Now the password for your Hotmail account was changed. And you can sign in Hotmail using your new password.
